These are the types of questions you will explore in the 领导 Studies minor at UNC—an innovative, experience-based program that emphasizes ethical leadership 和 social justice. A strong complement to any major area of study, the 领导 Studies minor examines what it means to be an everyday leader, focusing on community engagement 和 leadership in a global context. You’ll put theory into practice through diverse experiential learning opportunities that allow you to focus on issues that are important to you. The 领导 Studies minor curriculum fosters leadership development through both theory 和 experiential learning. You’ll be required to take six credits in core leadership courses, nine elective credits, one internship or practica credit 和 a two-credit 高级研讨会. Through this curriculum, you’ll identify 和 underst和 contemporary leadership theories 和 research 和 will develop a critical consciousness of self 和 apply social 和 ecological justice, globalism 和 ethics to leadership practices.
